Use a structured method of skills development to ensure effective succession planning. 

With the aging of the workforce, succession planning becomes even more important when planning for tomorrow’s vacant posts. As a manager or consultant, you will be equipped to set up a succession plan by assessing gaps, identifying needs and creating customized development plans. 

OBJECTIVES

  1. Integrate systematic workforce and potential management into your work practices  

  2. Develop the next generation and prepare them for succession into key positions 

CONTENT

  • Implement a succession management process 

  • Identify competency profiles based on current and future needs 

  • Identify a pool of promising candidates in accordance with the stages of career development 

  • Evaluate promising candidates 

  • Use tools to evaluate employee career development interests  

  • Conduct an interview to identify an employee's potential for a current or future position 

  • Support and develop employee progress using a development plan and organizational practices 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

All managers or consultants aiming to develop their succession planning skills within their organisation. 

To maximize training efficiency, the number of participants is limited to 12 per group.
