Having a sharp strategic sense requires knowledge of your environment. And this is challenged by the modern organisations’ ever-changing environments, in which information is abundant. 

This training session offers a deeper understanding of strategic thinking concepts and provides you with a functional toolkit that will enable you to evaluate your strategic position and develop an action plan.

  4. Evaluate your strategic position and develop a corresponding action plan

CONTENU

 1. STRATEGY CONCEPTS

  • Define strategy basics

  • Identify the 5 P’s of strategy: plan, pattern, position, perspective, and ploy

  • Strategic management

  • The fundamental components of business intelligence

  • Assess yourself as a strategist

2. STRATEGIC ANALYSIS

  • Contextual pressures (increased competition, product cycle, digitisation, profitability, demographics, etc.)

  • Market research

  • SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat)

  • The "Strategic Business Unit" model

  • Discover strategic and innovation opportunities

3. COMPANY STRATEGY WORKSHOP

  • Evaluate your organisation’s environment and business strategy

  • Develop a strategy according to the environment

  • Problem solving and creativity workshop using the Edward de Bono's method

  • Create a business model using Osterwalder and Proulx’s Business Model Canvas

  • Create your organisation's "roadmap": a simple graphic representation that efficiently communicates and shares your organisation’s business strategy

  • Develop an action plan and implement your business’ strategy
