Career management today is a shared responsibility between the employer and the employee. On the one hand, the employee is encouraged to express his or her career preferences and goals, and on the other hand, the employer can support the employee in developing his or her potential towards a desired and planned position. This process requires good communication between the parties involved and this workshop will equip you to discuss career development opportunities.

1. POTENTIAL MANAGEMENT CONCEPTS

  • Define what a potential development conversation is
  • Recognize the benefits and results of potential conversations on employees
  • Identify the components of potential management
  • Recognize the different stages of career development

2. THE TOOLS

  • Become familiar with internal tools
  • Experiment with different tools that promote conversations on the development of potential
  • Have tools at your disposal to conduct conversations about potential development

3. CONDUCTING A POTENTIAL DISCUSSION

  • Become familiar with the potential discussion approach
  • Follow the steps of a potential discussion
  • Apply effective communication techniques

4. WORKSHOPS ON POTENTIAL CONVERSATIONS

  • Conducting potential conversations in sensitive situations

Any manager or executive wishing to improve management and development of potential.

To maximize training periods, the number of participants is limited to 12 per group.
