Electro mechanic Technician
Our client is looking for 4 electromechanics to join the team. 2 for our Montreal-North plant and 2 for our Laval plant. You will work mainly on fixed machines, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems assisted by computer or programmable logic controllers.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on machines.
Perform settings, adjustments, troubleshooting and diagnostics (troubleshooting) of all production machines.
Participate in equipment modifications and the installation of new production machines.
Ensure continuity of production / limit shutdowns during repairs.
3 years or more of experience in a production environment
DEP in electromechanics or a technique in electrical engineering or industrial engineering or equivalent diploma.
Have a methodical and analytical mind to quickly find defects and causes
Have a sense of organization
Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities
Knowledge of English (asset).
Very competitive hourly wage, based on your experience.
This position is on a 3-2-2-3 schedule (36-48 hours) and is at night from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
You are paid 12 hours per day (this includes 2 breaks of 15 minutes and 30 minutes for lunch).
Premium of $2.00 per hour for the night shift + $1.50 when you work the weekend (Saturday-Sunday).
Paid overtime when you work 48 hours (8 hours at time and a half)

$1,500 hiring bonus payable: $750 after 3 months and $750 after 6 months.
