The housekeeping attendant is a technical service employee whose mission is to ensure the cleanliness of the facility. This includes cleaning furniture, carpets, floors, bathrooms and other furnishings and accessories. Other duties usually include emptying garbage cans and other related tasks as assigned. At certain times of the year, decontamination of institutions such as CHSLDs and HOSPITALS is required. Mandates are carried out in CHSLDs and hospitals in the Montreal Island network.
