  • Determine "who owns the problem" in any situation
  • Choose a response adapted to the situation

2. ASSERT YOURSELF EFFECTIVELY

  • Assert yourself without attacking or submitting
  • Express your needs so that people will respect them
  • Say "no" to unacceptable requests
  • Communicate your needs to prevent conflicts
  • Organize your living and working environment to prevent avoidable conflicts

3.EFFECTIVELY MEET YOUR NEEDS
